I'm Only Human by Johanne Charbonneau

I'm sorry if I can't do everything you want
I'm only one person.
I'm sorry if I make mistakes now and then
I'm only trying to learn.
I'm sorry if I hurt you sometimes
I'm only trying to help
I'm sorry if I say or do the wrong things
I'm only trying to please.
I'm sorry if I don't always mind my own business
I'm only trying to protect you.
I'm sorry if I don't live up to your standards
I'm only being myself.
And most of all,
I'm sorry if I can't always make you happy
I'm only human.
