Karie Hillary, writer/producer/vocalist released her newest recording "Bridge The Distance". It's a CD full of wonderful music. Every song is totally enjoyable, music to either dance to or just sit back and get lost in. I found myself sitting here wondering what I was doing reviewing this CD. It was just too good! It is a CD that everyone should already know about and writing a review on it would only get a response of..."Yes, I Know!". The music would probably be considered pop or soft rock. Karie describes her music a "unique contemporary pop". I pick up in parts a slight touch of the blues and some slight jazz. How ever you describe it is great music! Karie's song writing and singing ability is very obvious. She has a strong and wonderful voice and the talent to know how to use it in her songs. The musical impression I get listening to the CD is uplifting and at times romantic. I find it rather difficult to really describe other then its great music. My second reaction to listening to it was that I had to tell everyone I knew about it and those in the local area, have them listen to it. I honestly feel that unless you are very specific as to what type of music you like, "Bridge The Distance" is a CD that you would enjoy. At a loss for words...."It's just that good"!
