Submission Guidelines
Below are some general guidelines to help you with your submissions. Save this page on your hard disk for later reference.
Purr is usually released on the 1st day of every other month or shortly there after. The scheduled release months are
January, March, May, July, September, and November.
The Deadlines will be the 1st of the following months,
February, April, June, August, October, and December. (Submissions can be sent in at any time, this is just the cutoff dates that will be used.) If you plan a submission but are unable to meet the deadline please notify us.

Music Submissions
CD's may be sent in for review. All genres are welcome. If you are sending in a CD for review please either send along any promotional material you have, some type of history/information on the band or give us the link to your website if the information can be found there.
Note any and all links or credits you would like included with the review.
If the promotional material does not include photos and you have some please send them either via internet or mail.

Literary and other submissions:
Articles should be between 500 and 3000 words long, fiction can be a little longer. The word count is just a guide and not a mandatory limit. Feel free to submit any kind of text
(reviews, columns, poetry, fiction...). We will reply to all submissions.
We would love to receive pictures, if you can get the authorization of their creator. Please send images in GIF or JPEG
format, but we can convert them for you if necessary. If you are not the creator or one with rights to a picture please
include a copy of your authorization or a contact that we may verify the authorization.
Please include your full name and a short autobiography of yourself (4 or 5 lines) at the end of the article. Your e-mail
address will be included with your article. If you have
preferences as to name listed, or e-mail address used please tell
us.
Texts can be sent in Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, Ami Pro, rich-text format or regular ASCII format. Please make sure that your paragraphs breaks are easily recognized.
Purr is a totally non-profit Zine that does not pay its
contributors for their material at this time.
