The CD Department of Our Ways starts out with you thinking of techno music in a scheme to charm a snake turning then to down hard head banging music. It's hard rock full of metal strumming the beat with the drums. They then take this into a softer rock without loosing the intensity.
The lyrics poke fun at life making jokes of some serious subjects. But there is nothing funny about the talent of the band. They take the strength of their talents to make fun and have fun with the music. The music is tight and diverse. It is not a CD everyone would like but a CD that if you like enjoy a verity of music you will love just for the fun of it all and the talent on the band.
Fake Brain is taking serious music and having fun. I think they are a band that with their talent and this approach will sneak up on the music world and be out there without anyone realizing they were moving up the music ladder.
