Hot Chocolate for the Mystical Teenage Soul is the second book in a series of books by Arielle Ford. It is a wonderful book full of different stories about real life experiences about teenagers. Most of the stories are written by the teenager who had the experienced or someone who was there seeing what was happening to the teenager.
The book is enjoyable, interesting and well worth reading. Its not just a book for teens to read I think it is a good book for everyone to read. It may help you understand you teen some by seeing what other teens are going through. It may also open you up to hope, understand, and believing in a great power. If nothing else, it is just a good book to curl up with.
Arielle Ford has given permission for Purr to show you a sample story from the book. I choose the story and I am not sure why but I wanted to use this one. It may not be the best, or the most interesting one, or the one anyone else would choose to use. It just felt like the right selection to me.

Some of the stories are just about unexplainable experiences or memories of the teen. Other stories are about life changing events. Some of them came close to making me cry because they are that touching. It shows us where some of the teens found strength to face things in their lives. I think after reading the book you may actually take a closer look at your own life and come to realize how important some of the little things in your life were actually more then what you thought they were at the time.
