Brown, rough, and big. Light, thin, and transparent. One of those describes a paper bag, and the other describes a plastic bag. It's pretty easy to tell which one is which with these descriptions. I would choose plastic bags over paper bags at the grocery store. I would choose paper bags over plastic bags for storing cds. Paper bags are useful and so are plastic bags, but overall, I would choose plastic bags.

Paper bags are heavy when it is filled to its limit. Plastic bags can't be as heavy as paper bags when filled to the limit. At the grocery store, plastic bags would be useful for me, because I don't want to carry a big paper bag with tons of items in it and to store it in the car especially if my car is a truck and it is a rainy day. The bag would get soaked, and when trying to pick up the bag, the bottom of the bag rips and everything falls out.

Plastic bags store less items than paper bags, but if it is filled to its limit, then the plastic bag shouldn't rip. The plastic bag also has two handles that hang on the top of the bag and it makes it easier for you to carry and grip a plastic bag. Sure, it might take just a bit longer to unload to your car, but if you have a truck and you have to store it outside when it is raining, the plastic bag has a lesser chance to rip than that of a paper bag. When you arrive home, you can easily take the bags out and just trash them or save them if you prefer. I like plastic bags because it's easier for me, since I work at a local grocery store named Kroger. It doesn't take as much time to use as it does to use paper bags.

The only time I would use paper bags is when I need it for storing my personal items such as cds, tapes, video games, and all that good stuff. This would be useful, because I can store it all in a paper bag or two and it would be stored inside my house so that it can't get soaked. I would be able to find it easily in my room because it will be sitting up instead of lying under my bed in a plastic bag.

If you were to store some cds, tapes, and video games, you would have too many plastic bags to store them in. I know you'll say the same thing about putting groceries in plastic bags, but you will take those plastic bags home and you will store the items you bought and you will put the plastic bag away. But storing cds, games, and other accessories will just take too many bags and you'll have to look around for the right bag instead of just looking through one or two paper bags. Looking through paper bags won't be too much work for you to do because if you stored all your cds and games in a paper bags, you would only have to look through at least one or two bags, instead of looking through five or six plastic bags. That would be the only time when I would prefer paper bags, but the rest of the time, I would use plastic.

There are some other reasons for why paper bags are better than plastic bags, but there are more reasons for why plastic is better than paper. Using plastic will conserve you time in unloading groceries, because the people who bag your groceries should bag cold with cold and fruits with fruits in plastic bags, but in paper bags, they will just put whatever the paper bag can hold. You will have a hard time unloading this because you'll have to run back and forth to the fridge and the freezer. With a plastic bag, you can just grab a bag, and unload it in one place without going back and forth. This will conserve you time and energy. Next time you go to your nearest grocery store (most people prefer Kroger), remember to use plastic bags. You won't regret it unless the stupid bagger mixes things up, then next time you can use a paper bag if you want.
