Eyes of Pandora is an alternative/eclectic pop band from Miami Florida with a forceful yet melodically song-oriented style. They take you by surprise with the strength of their music combined with the gentleness of lyrics. It's rather an unusual combination very well blended making it flow so naturally. It would be like taking a Peter, Paul and Mary song lyrics and have the music written by bands like the Banshees.
The lyrics are along the lines for folk rock but sang with more strength then normal for that type of lyrics. Susan Tojo exhibits her singing ability of strength and versatility giving distinctively preformed vocals that are well mixed with the music. Finding the balance of the lyrics and the alternative electricity of the music can be attributed to the bands songwriter and guitarist Robert Gueits.
The CD is very well mastered and features guest recordings by Amada Green (Y & T Records) on piano, Derek Murphy (drummer for Arista Recording Artist Angie Aparro), Carlos Gutierrez on Bass guitar and others. It is produced by Y & T Records, avant-pop artist Eric Alexandrakis; the album is colored by swelling guitar, ghostly back up harmonies and jarring musical accents.
