I simply write as an outlet and I need to write the kind of songs that allow the outlet to be successful." Just Taste It is a CD full of wonderful gentle acoustic guitar ballads. The ballads range from very soft and gentle to gentle but highly intense. The mix of guitar and vocals drifts the listener away form the daily hectic life to a peaceful place. Sometimes romantic, sometimes intense, sometimes unusual at times the music is a pleasure to listen to. If you enjoyed ballads from Emerson, Lake, and Palmer, or Bon Jovi you will enjoy these ballads. I tend to envision more of Emerson, Lake and Palmer type ballads due to the style and talent. (Yes, ELP did some great gentle ballads!) It is also a CD that the more you listen to it the more you like it. Blake shows his songwriting talent.
