Hi! It has been a long time! Sorry about that! Sometimes live just has a way of making us follow its schedule instead of the one we want to follow. Sometimes we have to take the time to deal with life’s adjustments, that is unless you are someone who just does not care about anyone or anything. I don’t know about you but I tend to live my everyday life based on priorities. I think we all do to some extent.

Purr is very important to me and I have future plans for it when I get the time. The choices I had mostly to deal with were people related issues. Purr will be around for a long time. If Purr does not get worked on tonight, it will still be there tomorrow exactly as it was the day before. Maybe there will be more work to do today since yesterday there was not any work done but it will not alter Purr itself.

People are not like that. They may still be here tomorrow but its your everyday input or lack of input that effects their tomorrow, not your tomorrow, but theirs. Sometimes it can be minor and it can wait until “I” have the time. Sometimes it is not. Sometimes if you put a person’s needs on hold and it ends up too late when you have time. It’s a fine line sometimes to decide how important an issue is with someone who needs or requests your help. You just then have to go with your instincts and hope for the best.

I guess that is another version of ‘Stop to Smell The Roses”. It’s like a man who works so hard to support a family to find in the end the family is gone and all the family ever wanted was his presence.

Ok, getting too serious! Honestly nothing seriously bad has been going on just a few adjustments I’ve been going thru is the reason Purr is so late. It’s not easy to go from two adult kids and 2 dogs to having another adult and my grandson move in. (Oh, sorry, I forgot and a rabbit!) It does not help my grandson starting walking at 10 months old. EEEEKKKK! You have 5 different schedules…. 8 if you count the animals in on it. It has been hectic, it has been fun, it has been a big headache at times but we all have survived and for the better. Its ‘for the better’ part that counts.

You may think I am silly for taking all this on but I look at it this way….. no one else would! It was best for my Grandson and he and all the children of his generation are our future.

Hey! Its summer! I am ready for the beach! How about you?

Take Care,
Lynn Beck
