| The Ticks' vocalist and guitarist, Charlie Wayne Morrill, is the legendary frontman that kick started HAWK in LA with Lonnie Vincent, Doug Marks of Metal Method fame and Scott Travis. Bluntly, Charlie Wayne Morrill's razor sharp vocals rips the roof off the house and his reputation in the industry is undisputed, documented and proven around the world in bands with members of the Bullet Boys, Judiest Guns and Roses, Poison and Keel to name a few. Morrill is also the voice wailing the lyrics on "Smooth" and "Money Money Money" that broke The Bullet Boys wide open on MTV. He was #1 on Billboard in 99, has two 360 day tours under his belt and two movie soundtracks including Wayne's World along with a repertoire of nine world wide CD releases and a soon to be released new effort entitled Infected. A native Californian, Morrill walked away from a steady stream of label deals in the US and Europe, and endless touring to follow his unquenchable thirst for new and creative ventures. Relocating to Nashville 3 years ago to experiment musically and to work with A-team musicians with different musical and cultural backgrounds, Morrill cranked out "This Train" which put him back on the charts and in the limelight, and was the precursor to "Unchained and Live" recorded live in Nashville. Now, with a new lineup and a new sound, Morrill is back to carve another notch in the bedpost and prove once again it is a "Good Life." Detroit's Jon Bradford is as solid as cold blue steal when he takes the throne. Bradford studied master drumming in Ghana and has performed nationally in African drum ensembles. A talented composer and vocalist in his own right, Bradford also plays guitar, piano and the xylophone. Randy Smith is a Tennessee native from Jackson. Smith began his career early under the talented eye of his farther, William Smith. Randy studied music in Memphis and is an accomplished jazz and classical instrumentalist as well as a proficient mandolin player. Smith is well known in the Memphis blues and jazz scene as well as a sought after sessions sideman. Locally, The Ticks recently received The Most Promising New Act Award for 2002 at Nashville's Independent Music Awards on cable TV.
