| Karie Hillery was first reviewed in 1999 with her CD “Bridge The Distance”. She has again out done herself in “To Your Heart”. Karie is a very talented musician, writer, and producer. Her music is has beauty and depth, and is filled with overflowing heart and soul. The songs are gentle yet strong, full of ballad, jazzy, pop type of music. Karie states: “The lyrics and melodies on this CD have come through many years of observation as well as my own personal growth for years, people have commented on the ‘spiritual’ underpinnings of my writing …….” My hope is that this collection brings you comfort and hope, and perhaps some insight into the realization that wer are not alone.” I think Karie has done a very good job of pursuing her mission in her music.
